Collaborate with Merchandising, Sales Reps & Country Managers to build & maintain seasonal plans based on strong data analysis that will trigger buys and drive sales for UA and accounts.


  • Sales Planning:  Partner with Sales Reps and Retail Buyers to create and maintain seasonal assortment plans that align with financial targets and goals. Reconcile seasonal account plans to bookings.  Identify liabilities and gains to UA and account plan. Partner with Merchandise Planner on assortment-related questions. 
  • Financial Planning:  Align account forecasts within an acceptable variance of financial targets on an ongoing basis. Provide sales and management with summaries of forecasts, financial targets, and bookings monthly.
  • Account Analysis: Understand forecast accuracy and identify root causes of inaccuracies and best course of action to impact plans.  Analyze trends and strategize to improve forecasts for future seasons.
  • Inventory Planning: Apply an overall buy strategy in accordance with management agreement and with the focus to optimally support the UA business (WHSL and DTC).
  • Challenge the flow of demand to allow for an optimal supply and Days Forward Coverage (DFC). Resolve Unresolved Demand to safeguard sales and reflect the true UA supply.


  • Strong aptitude with Excel analysis, retail math, and forecasting methodology
  • Proven ability to think critically, problem solve, analyze needs, and offer solutions
  • Effectiveness in prioritizing and juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision
  • Ability to build collaborative partnerships cross-functionally
  • Excellent communicator with the aptitude to clearly present data both written and verbally.


  • Bachelors’ Degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in planning, buying, replenishment, or other related field


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge in planning systems a plus – SAP, JDA, Logility
  • Fluent in English


  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
