Under Armour is looking for a qualified Operations Specialist for our growing European e-commerce business. This role will drive operational efficiency, support the ongoing operations of the existing businesses and project manage future operational enhancements. This position requires a highly motivated individual to be part of a proactive, responsive and customer focused team. The right candidate possesses analytical and problem-solving skills, strong technical understanding, organizational and people management skills, and the ability to identify and recommend actionable solutions to address issues and improve operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage daily and ad-hoc warehouse efficiency and reporting, as well as serve as the point person for any process exceptions.
  • Responsible for monitoring consumer orders including order bank, payment processing, order tracking, and parcel delivery.
  • Own the returns process- identifying best practices and ensuring that returns are processed and refunds issued in a timely fashion.
  • Develop automated processes to increase system efficiency, working with internal development teams, as well and investigating external solutions.
  • Drive customer retention based projects to support business growth and customer loyalty. 
  • Be the project manager/technical counterpart for the HQ-based development team for operations initiatives- brief in opportunities, communicate project goals and success metrics in order to achieve departmental buy-in.
  • Serve as e-commerce point person for logistics, warehouse, customer service and shipping partners. Partner with teammates to ensure best in class functionality and service.
  • Serve as point person for  the payment gateway. Set fraud filters, monitor order acceptance rate, respond to chargebacks, and work with technical team to implement new payment methods.
  • Own the European employee ordering process, partnering with HR, DH and e-comm Content teams to ensure smooth processing of employee orders.
  • Partner with the European DH and supply chain partners to optimize labor, efficiency, holiday/peak volume spikes, and reporting performance against SLA’s.
  • Manage vendor relationships and represent EU ecommerce in discussions and negotiations with 3rd party providers.
  • Other duties may be assigned as business needs evolve.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the creation and management of spreadsheets

  • Demonstrated ability to assess trends, define proposed solutions, and influence change
  • Able to switch gears in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects


  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Direct operational experience in an Ecommerce setting a plus
  • SAP knowledge a plus
  • Basic understanding of the order process from web to cash
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in a customer service and/or analyst role
  • Fluent in English & ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus
