Reporting to Sr. Director EU Merchandising, you’ll create, maintain and visually communicate sell-in merchandising plans. You’ll work closely with our Merchandising, Sales and Planning teams, focused on our Pan-European strategic accounts to manage and co-ordinate all merchandising requirements, category reviews and market data to ensure that products appear in the right channel, in the right place, and at the right time. Importantly, you’ll determine a strategy for floor planograms for product placement and influence collateral needs for product placement and emphasis.

A natural leader, you’ll engage with and visually define strategic seasonal initiatives across good, better, and best level assortments within defined channels. In alignment with category merchants you will create channel assortments that are operationally efficient, drive newness, and are aligned to global seasonal stories. Added to that, you’ll also manage the category merchandising review calendar, provide support to category reviews, co-ordinate space utilization analysis and act as a central point of contact for sell-in merchandising and market data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Drive the product vision through collaborating with Merchandising, Planning and Marketing teams on the content for floor set creation and execution.
  • Develop assortment plans across channel for good, better, best account levels with guidance to door size. Consider flow, skus, efficiency.
  • Collaborating with Category counterparts to drive a cohesive merchandising strategy across apparel, footwear, and accessories
  • Driving product assortments to ensure amplification of key products, concepts & stories with a retail end in mind
  • Garner buy-in on assortments strategies and execution from sales partners and planners
  • Maintain a strong understanding of product demand, mix, forecast and inventory levels
  • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising team to assure alignment on seasonal directives and assortment plans
  • Manage the direction on mannequin styling and implementation of global hero styles.
  • Foster positive relationships with accounts gaining their feedback and insight as to product needs and consumer reactions to product assortments and items.
  • Support category Head of Merchandising as needed to translate and execute vision

    QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • An undeniable fit with our cultural values and work ethic
  • 3-5 years’ experience, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes
  • Strong working knowledge of visual merchandising and how it supports an exceptional customer experience and drives business.
  • Have experience with a variety of go-to-market models (direct to consumer, wholesale, retail, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Able to prioritize and work under pressure across multiple deadlines; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments
  • Contributes to building a positive team spirit; sets challenging standards, develops strong partnerships, and leads others to action.
  • Superior presentation skills
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, and Illustrator required
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
